Perhaps this may be a controversial opinion…

Having been following this sport for around 2 years now, I’ve noticed a steady decline in favourable camera angles, wedgies, dancing and celebrating… the moments where gymnasts are in their element focused and also enjoying themselves

These girls do not live under a rock. They know how much attention they get on subs like these. Perhaps some may enjoy, others not as much but personally I think we are doing ourselves a disservice by doing wayyy tooo much!!!

Watching full meets it’s very easy to tell there is a level of awareness from gymnasts and their teammates hoping to not end up on a sub like this.

I think I can speak for most when I say I appreciate the efforts of members on this sub and others, bringing recognition to different schools and gymnasts.

I just think we could all benefit from pulling back a bit, we don’t need to search for pussy slips. They know that they look good, let them perform with a level of comfort. The quality overall has gone downhill in these last 2-3 years.
